Directive 2009/16/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 2009 on port State control (recast) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

Information to be provided in accordance with Article 9(1): The information listed below shall be submitted to the port authority or body or to the authority or body designated for that purpose at least three days before the expected time of arrival in the port or anchorage or before leaving the previous port or anchorage if the voyage is expected to take fewer than three days: ship identification (name, call sign, IMO identification number or MMSI number); planned duration of the call; for tankers: configuration: single hull, single hull with SBT, double hull; condition of the cargo and ballast tanks: full, empty, inerted; volume and nature of the cargo; planned operations at the port or anchorage of destination (loading, unloading, other); planned statutory survey inspections and substantial maintenance and repair work to be carried out whilst in the port of destination; date of last expanded inspection in the Paris MOU region.
