Directive 2009/31/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 2009 on the geological storage of carbon dioxide and amending Council Directive 85/337/EEC, European Parliament and Council Directives 2000/60/EC, 2001/80/EC, 2004/35/EC, 2006/12/EC, 2008/1/EC and Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

Annex II shall be amended as follows: the following point shall be added to point 3: ‘(j) Installations for the capture of CO_(2) streams for the purposes of geological storage pursuant to Directive 2009/31/EC from installations not covered by Annex I to this Directive.’; point (i) of point 10 shall be replaced by the following: ‘(i) Oil and gas pipeline installations and pipelines for the transport of CO_(2) streams for the purposes of geological storage (projects not included in Annex I).’
