Directive 2009/111/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 September 2009 amending Directives 2006/48/EC, 2006/49/EC and 2007/64/EC as regards banks affiliated to central institutions, certain own funds items, large exposures, supervisory arrangements, and crisis management (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

the following paragraph is added: ‘In an emergency situation as referred to in Article 130(1), Member States shall allow competent authorities to communicate information to the central banks of the European system of the central banks when this information is relevant for the exercise of their statutory tasks, including the conduct of monetary policy and related liquidity provision, the oversight of payments, clearing and settlement systems, and safeguarding the stability of the financial system.’;
