2. In accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 33(2), amendments or additions to a plan which has been approved in accordance with the second subparagraph of paragraph 1 of this Article may be: approved at the request of the Member State concerned, in order to take account of a change in the situation in that Member State, or requested, in order to take account of progress in methods of disease prevention and control.
