Regulation (EC) No 596/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 June 2009 adapting a number of instruments subject to the procedure referred to in Article 251 of the Treaty to Council Decision 1999/468/EC with regard to the regulatory procedure with scrutiny — Adaptation to the regulatory procedure with scrutiny — Part Four · European Union

Article 64 shall be replaced by the following: ‘Article 64 Amendment of Annexes and references to European standards The following measures, designed to amend non-essential elements of this Regulation, shall be adopted in accordance with the regulatory procedure with scrutiny referred to in Article 62(4): (1) the Annexes to this Regulation may be updated, except for Annex I, Annex IV and Annex V, without prejudice to Article 27(3), in particular in order to take account of administrative changes and scientific and/or technological progress; (2) the references to the European standards mentioned in this Regulation may be updated in the event that CEN amends those references.’.
