For activities listed in Annex I to Directive 2003/87/EC, Member States may choose not to impose requirements laid down in Article 14(1), point (aa) and Article 15(4) of this Directive relating to energy efficiency in respect of combustion units or other units emitting carbon dioxide on the site.
