Article 30(1) of Directive 2004/17/EC is not applicable to bituminous coal mining in the Czech Republic. Consequently, Directive 2004/17/EC shall continue to apply to contracts awarded by contracting entities and intended to enable them to carry out such activities in the Czech Republic.
