DIRECTIVE 2011/89/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 16 November 2011 amending Directives 98/78/EC, 2002/87/EC, 2006/48/EC and 2009/138/EC as regards the supplementary supervision of financial entities in a financial conglomerate (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

‘The following may participate in colleges of supervisors: (a) the competent authorities responsible for the supervision of subsidiaries of an EU parent credit institution, an EU parent financial holding company or an EU parent mixed financial holding company; (b) the competent authorities of a host country where significant branches as referred to in Article 42a are established; (c) central banks as appropriate; and (d) third-country competent authorities where appropriate and subject to confidentiality requirements that are equivalent, in the opinion of all the competent authorities, to Articles 44 to 52.’;
