The PEC, or the qualitative estimation of exposure, shall be determined taking account of, in particular and where appropriate: adequately measured exposure data, the form in which the product is marketed, the type of biocidal product, the application method and application rate, the physico-chemical properties, breakdown/transformation products, likely pathways to environmental compartments and potential for adsorption/desorption and degradation, the frequency and duration of exposure, long range environmental transportation.
