REGULATION (EU) No 648/2012 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 4 July 2012 on OTC derivatives, central counterparties and trade repositories (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

In order to ensure uniform conditions of application of paragraphs 1 and 3, ESMA shall develop draft implementing technical standards specifying: (a) the format and frequency of the reports referred to in paragraphs 1 and 3 for the different classes of derivatives; (b) the date by which derivative contracts are to be reported, including any phase-in for contracts entered into before the reporting obligation applies. ESMA shall submit those draft implementing technical standards to the Commission by 30 September 2012. Power is conferred on the Commission to adopt the implementing technical standards referred to in the first subparagraph in accordance with Article 15 of Regulation (EU) No 1095/2010.
