A European organisation representing consumers in European standardisation activities which: is non-governmental, non-profit-making, and independent of industry, commercial and business or other conflicting interests; has as its statutory objectives and activities to represent consumer interests in the standardisation process at European level; has been mandated by national non-profit consumer organisations in at least two thirds of the Member States, to represent the interests of consumers in the standardisation process at European level.
