(8) The European Parliament’s Resolution of 21 October 2010 on the future of European standardisation OJ C 70 E, 8.3.2012, p. 56. , as well as the report of the Expert Panel for the Review of the European Standardization System (Express) of February 2010 entitled ‘Standardization for a competitive and innovative Europe: a vision for 2020’, have set out an important number of strategic recommendations regarding the review of the European standardisation system.
