Article 42

1. A statement on origin shall be made out for each consignment. 2. A statement on origin shall be valid for 12 months from the date of its making out by the exporter. 3. A single statement on origin may cover several consignments if the goods meet the following conditions: they are dismantled or non-assembled products within the meaning of general rule 2(a) of the Harmonised System; they fall within Section XVI or XVII or heading 7308 or 9406 of the Harmonised System; and they are intended to be imported by instalments.
