Article 56

Council Decision 2013/755/EU of 25 November 2013 on the association of the overseas countries and territories with the European Union ( ‘Overseas Association Decision’ ) · European Union

With a view to promoting the sustainable management of fish stocks, the association may include cooperation regarding the combat of illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing and related trade. Cooperation in this field aims at: promoting the implementation of measures to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing and related trade in OCTs; facilitating cooperation between OCTs and regional fisheries management organisations, in particular with respect to the development and effective implementation of control and inspection schemes, incentives and measures for effective long term management of fisheries and marine ecosystems.
