Article 80

Council Decision 2013/755/EU of 25 November 2013 on the association of the overseas countries and territories with the European Union ( ‘Overseas Association Decision’ ) · European Union

1. Financial assistance may contribute to, among other things, supporting the OCTs with developing the necessary capacities to define, implement and monitor territorial and/or regional strategies and actions in view of achieving the general objectives for the areas of cooperation mentioned in Parts Two and Three. 2. The Union shall support the efforts of the OCTs in developing reliable statistical data regarding those areas. 3. The Union may support OCTs in their efforts to improve comparability of their macroeconomic indicators.
