the CIU is managed by a company that is subject to supervision in a Member State or, in the case of third country CIU, where the following conditions are met: the CIU is managed by a company which is subject to supervision that is considered equivalent to that laid down in Union law; cooperation between competent authorities is sufficiently ensured;
