Regulation (EU) No 952/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 October 2013 laying down the Union Customs Code (recast) · European Union

2. Upon application by the person concerned, the customs authorities shall establish the customs status as Union goods of any of the following goods: Union goods which enter a free zone; Union goods which have undergone processing operations within a free zone; goods released for free circulation within a free zone.
