(26) Horizon 2020 should contribute to the attractiveness of the research profession in the Union. Adequate attention should be paid to the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, as set out in the Commission Recommendation of 11 March 2005 OJ L 75, 22.3.2005, p. 67. , together with other relevant reference frameworks defined in the context of the ERA, while respecting their voluntary nature.
