facilitate the setting up of cluster initiatives and pilot or demonstration projects which may relate, inter alia, to the following issues:: increased agricultural productivity, economic viability, sustainability, output and resource efficiency; innovation in support of the bio-based economy; biodiversity, ecosystem services, soil functionality and sustainable water management; innovative products and services for the integrated supply chain; opening up new product and market opportunities for primary producers; food quality, food safety and healthy diet; reduce post-harvest losses and food wastage.
