Member States shall make use, where appropriate, of the integrated system laid down in Chapter II of Title V and in particular of points (a), (b), (d), (e) and (f) of Article 68(1). Member States may make use of their existing administration and control systems to ensure compliance with the rules on cross-compliance. Those systems, and notably the system for the identification and registration of animals set up in accordance with Council Directive 2008/71/EC Council Directive 2008/71/EC of 15 July 2008 on the identification and registration of pigs (OJ L 213, 8.8.2008, p. 31). and Regulations (EC) No 1760/2000 and (EC) No 21/2004, shall be compatible with the integrated system referred to in Chapter II of Title V of this Regulation.
