1.3. Accessories contributing to the strength of the vessel

Directive 2014/29/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to the making available on the market of simple pressure vessels (recast) Text with EEA relevance · European Union

These accessories (for example bolts and nuts) shall be made of a material specified in point 1.1 or of other kinds of steel, aluminium or an appropriate aluminium alloy compatible with materials used for the manufacture of pressurised parts. The latter materials shall at minimum working temperature have an appropriate elongation after fracture and bending rupture energy.
