2.2.2. Design for adequate strength shall be based on either of the following: as a general rule, a calculation method, as described in point 2.2.3, and supplemented if necessary by an experimental design method as described in point 2.2.4, an experimental design method without calculation, as described in point 2.2.4, when the product of the maximum allowable pressure PS and the volume V is less than 6000 bar·L or the product PS·DN less than 3000 bar.
