Directive 2014/68/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to the making available on the market of pressure equipment (recast) Text with EEA relevance · European Union

The impartiality of the user inspectorates, their top level management and of the personnel responsible for carrying out conformity assessment tasks shall be guaranteed. User inspectorates must not engage in any activities that might conflict with its independence of judgement and integrity in relation to its inspection activities. The remuneration of the top level management and personnel responsible for carrying out conformity assessment tasks of a user inspectorate shall not depend on the number of assessments carried out or on the results of those assessments.
