Directive (EU) 2016/798 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 May 2016 on railway safety (recast) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union
National rules notified by 15 June 2016 pursuant to Directive 2004/49/EC shall apply if they: fall into one of the types identified under Annex II; and comply with Union law, including in particular TSIs, CSTs and CSMs; and would not result in arbitrary discrimination or a disguised restriction on rail transport operation between Member States.
