detailed requirements for the identification and registration of kept terrestrial animals of species other than the bovine, ovine, caprine, porcine and equine species where necessary, taking into account the risks posed by the species concerned, in order to: ensure the efficient application of the disease prevention and control measures provided for in this Regulation; facilitate the traceability of kept terrestrial animals, and their movements within and between Member States and their entry into the Union;
