Regulation (EU) 2016/429 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on transmissible animal diseases and amending and repealing certain acts in the area of animal health (‘Animal Health Law’) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

The Commission shall be empowered to adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 264 concerning the derogations provided for in paragraph 2 of this Article in respect of movements of live aquaculture animals which do not pose a significant risk of spreading of diseases on account of: the species, categories, and live stage of the aquaculture animals concerned; the methods of keeping the aquaculture animals and the type of production in the aquaculture establishments of origin and of destination; the intended use of the aquaculture animals; the place of destination of the aquaculture animals; treatments, processing methods and other special risk-mitigation measures applied at the place of origin or the place of destination.
