For certain specific types of entry of animals, germinal products and products of animal origin, the application of the rules set out in Article 229(1) and Articles 233 and 237 may not be adequate, and special rules may need to be adopted by the Commission through delegated acts which take into account the particular risks, the final destination, the type of final use and other circumstances.
