The Commission shall review the disease situation and the disease control measures taken by the competent authority and any additional disease control measures taken by the Member State concerned, in accordance with this Chapter, and may, by means of implementing acts, lay down special disease control measures for a limited period of time, under conditions appropriate to the epidemiological situation, where: those disease control measures are found not to be suited to the epidemiological situation; the listed disease referred to in point (a) of Article 9(1) appears to be spreading despite the disease control measures taken in accordance with this Chapter. Those implementing acts shall be adopted in accordance with the examination procedure referred to in Article 266(2).
