If the Management Board considers it necessary for the performance of Europol's tasks, it may suggest to the Council that it draw the attention of the Commission to the need for an adequacy decision as referred to in point (a) of Article 25(1) or for a recommendation for a decision authorising the opening of negotiations with a view to the conclusion of an international agreement as referred to in point (b) of Article 25(1).
