The multiannual programming shall set out the overall strategic programming, including the objectives, expected results and performance indicators. It shall also set out the resource planning, including the multiannual budget and staff. It shall include the strategy for relations with third countries and international organisations. The multiannual programming shall be implemented by means of annual work programmes and shall, where appropriate, be updated following the outcome of external and internal evaluations. The conclusion of those evaluations shall also be reflected, where appropriate, in the annual work programme for the following year.
