No later than the time specified in the harmonised allocation rules for each forward capacity allocation, an auction specification containing at least the following information shall be defined and published on the single allocation platform: date and time of gate opening and gate closure of the auction; validated splitting of long-term cross-zonal capacity and type of the long-term transmission rights that will be auctioned; format of bids; date and time of publication of auction results; the period during which auction results can be contested.
