(8) In its resolution of 10 March 2016 on the Banking Union Not yet published in the Official Journal. , the European Parliament called on the Commission to present proposals to reduce further the legal risks of claims under the no creditor worse off principle, and, in its conclusions of 17 June 2016, the Council invited the Commission to put forward a proposal on a common approach to the bank creditors’ hierarchy to enhance legal certainty in the event of resolution.
