Regulation (EU) 2017/1601 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 September 2017 establishing the European Fund for Sustainable Development (EFSD), the EFSD Guarantee and the EFSD Guarantee Fund · European Union

Aggregate net payments from the general budget of the Union under the EFSD Guarantee shall not exceed EUR 1500000000. Without prejudice to paragraph 4, payments for guarantee calls shall be made, where necessary, by the contributing Member States or other contributors on pari passu basis with the Union.
