Council Regulation (EU) 2017/1939 of 12 October 2017 implementing enhanced cooperation on the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (‘the EPPO’) · European Union

Instead of erasure, the EPPO shall restrict processing where: the accuracy of the operational personal data is contested by the data subject and their accuracy or inaccuracy cannot be ascertained; or the operational personal data must be maintained for the purposes of evidence. Where processing is restricted pursuant to point (a) of the first subparagraph, the EPPO shall inform the data subject before lifting the restriction of processing.
