Where the originator or original lender is not a credit institution or investment firm, as defined in points (1) and (2) of Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013, established in the Union, the notification pursuant to paragraph 1 of this Article shall be accompanied by the following: confirmation by the originator or original lender that its credit-granting is done on the basis of sound and well-defined criteria and clearly established processes for approving, amending, renewing and financing credits and that the originator or original lender has effective systems in place to apply such processes in accordance with Article 9 of this Regulation; and a declaration by the originator or original lender as to whether credit granting referred to in point (a) is subject to supervision.
