The values for biogas production from manure include negative emissions for emissions saved from raw manure management. The value of e_(sca) considered is equal to – 45 g CO_(2)eq/MJ manure used in anaerobic digestion. Maize whole plant means maize harvested as fodder and ensiled for preservation. Transport of agricultural raw materials to the transformation plant is, according to the methodology provided in the Commission's report of 25 February 2010 on sustainability requirements for the use of solid and gaseous biomass sources in electricity, heating and cooling, included in the ‘cultivation’ value. The value for transport of maize silage accounts for 0,4 g CO_(2)eq/MJ biogas.
