The fitting of an ESC system is required by Article 12 and Article 13 of Regulation (EC) No 661/2009. Therefore, the requirements set out in Part A of Annex 9 to UN Regulation No 13-H shall be fulfilled. N1 vehicles may be approved in accordance with UN Regulation No 13 or UN Regulation No 13-H.
