DIRECTIVE (EU) 2019/790 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 17 April 2019 on copyright and related rights in the Digital Single Market and amending Directives 96/9/EC and 2001/29/EC (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

Directive 2001/29/EC is amended as follows: (a) In Article 5(2), point (c) is replaced by the following: ‘(c) (b) In Article 5(3), point (a) is replaced by the following: ‘(a) (c) In Article 12(4), the following points are added: ‘(e) to examine the impact of the transposition of Directive (EU) 2019/790 on the functioning of the internal market and to highlight any transposition difficulties; (f) to facilitate the exchange of information on relevant developments in legislation and case law as well as on the practical application of the measures taken by Member States to implement Directive (EU) 2019/790; (g) to discuss any other questions arising from the application of Directive (EU) 2019/790.’.
