Directive (EU) 2019/878 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2019 amending Directive 2013/36/EU as regards exempted entities, financial holding companies, mixed financial holding companies, remuneration, supervisory measures and powers and capital conservation measures (Text with EEA relevance.) · European Union

in Article 9, the following paragraphs are added: ‘3. Member States shall notify to the Commission and to EBA the national laws that expressly allow undertakings other than credit institutions to carry out the business of taking deposits and other repayable funds from the public. 4. Pursuant to this Article, Member States may not exempt credit institutions from the application of this Directive and Regulation (EU) No 575/2013.’;
