the remuneration policy, taking into account national rules on wage setting, makes a clear distinction between the criteria applied to determine the following: basic fixed remuneration, which primarily reflects relevant professional experience and organisational responsibility as set out in an employee’s job description as part of his or her terms of employment; variable remuneration, which reflects a sustainable and risk adjusted performance of the employee, as well as performance in excess of the employee’s job description;
