To carry out the tasks referred to in paragraph 1 in an efficient and expeditious manner, ACER shall in particular: decide on the configuration of system operation regions pursuant to Article 36(3) and (4) and issue approvals pursuant to Article 37(2) of Regulation (EU) 2019/943; request information from regional coordination centres where appropriate pursuant to Article 46 of Regulation (EU) 2019/943; issue opinions and recommendations to the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission; issue opinions and recommendations to regional coordination centres.
