Within five working days of taking a decision for registration of the PEPP, competent authorities shall communicate to EIOPA the decision as well as the information and documents referred to in points (a), (b), (d), (f) and (g) of paragraph 2 and shall inform the applicant PEPP provider accordingly. EIOPA shall not be responsible or be held liable for a decision for registration taken by competent authorities. Where the competent authorities refuse to grant registration, they shall issue a reasoned decision which shall be subject to a right to appeal.
