institutions which are designated in accordance with point (b) of Article 54(2) of Regulation (EU) No 909/2014, provided that: their activities are limited to offering banking‐type services, as referred to in Section C of the Annex to that Regulation, to central securities depositories authorised in accordance with Article 16 of that Regulation; and they do not perform any significant maturity transformations.
