Member States shall comply with the specifications for the analysis of parameters set out in Annex III, in accordance with the following principles: methods of analysis other than those specified in Part A of Annex III may be used, provided that it can be demonstrated that the results obtained are at least as reliable as those produced by the methods specified in Part A of Annex III, by providing the Commission with all relevant information concerning such methods and their equivalence; for the parameters listed in Part B of Annex III, any method of analysis may be used provided that it meets the requirements set out therein.
