By 12 January 2024, the Commission shall adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 21 in order to supplement this Directive by adopting a methodology to measure microplastics with a view to including them on the watch list referred to in paragraph 8 of this Article once the conditions set out under that paragraph are fulfilled.
