Directive (EU) 2020/2184 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2020 on the quality of water intended for human consumption (recast) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

In the event of non-compliance with the parametric values or with the specifications set out in Part C of Annex I, Member States shall consider whether that non-compliance poses any risk to human health. They shall take remedial action to restore the quality of water intended for human consumption where that is necessary to protect human health.
