Directive (EU) 2020/2184 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2020 on the quality of water intended for human consumption (recast) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

The risk assessment and risk management of the catchment areas for abstraction points of water intended for human consumption shall be carried out for the first time by 12 July 2027. That risk assessment and risk management shall be reviewed at regular intervals of no longer than six years, taking account of the requirements provided for in Article 7 of Directive 2000/60/EC, and updated where necessary.
