The resolution authority shall take a decision that the bridge CCP is no longer a bridge CCP within the meaning of Article 42(2) in any of the following cases: the resolution objectives are fulfilled; the bridge CCP merges with another entity; the bridge CCP ceases to meet the requirements laid down in Article 42(2); the bridge CCP or substantially all of its assets, rights, obligations or liabilities have been sold in accordance with paragraphs 2 and 4 of this Article; the period specified in paragraph 5 of this Article or, where applicable, paragraph 6 of this Article expires; the contracts cleared by the bridge CCP have been settled, have expired or have been closed out and the CCP’s rights and obligations relating to those contracts are thereby completely discharged.
