In accordance with point (c) of Article 154(6) of the Financial Regulation, the Commission may decide not to require an ex-ante assessment as referred to in paragraphs 3 and 4 of that Article when the budget implementation tasks referred to in point (c) of the first subparagraph of Article 62(1) of that Regulation are entrusted to a managing authority of an outermost regions’ Interreg programme identified pursuant to Article 45(1) of this Regulation and in accordance with Article 71 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060.
