Article 8 — Competent authorities

REGULATION (EU) 2021/1230 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 14 July 2021 on cross-border payments in the Union (codification) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

Member States shall designate the competent authorities responsible for ensuring compliance with this Regulation. Member States shall notify the Commission without delay of any change concerning the competent authorities of which it was notified in accordance with the second paragraph of Article 9 of Regulation (EC) No 924/2009. Member States shall require the competent authorities to monitor compliance with this Regulation effectively and take all necessary measures to ensure such compliance.
